Dan Sachs has been a professional acupuncturist since 1983. He was the first to set up shop in Greenfield MA and is now the first for Turners Falls.
He learned acupuncture in the first class at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Maryland, earning certification in 1983 and then a Master of Acupuncture degree.
He also studied in England at the Center for Traditional Acupuncture where he earned a Bachelor of Acupuncture degree.
Other trainings include many consultations and graduate trainings called MAPtm with J.R. Worsley, the founder of the Classical Five Element Acupuncture tradition. He now continues his studies with Judy Worsley, J.R.'s wife and holder of the lineage.
Dan also loves to teach this wonderful healing art and has trained two excellent apprentices who now practice in Vermont.
He has taught at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Florida and for the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Maryland, and the Institute for Taoist Education and Acupuncture in Louisville, Colorado.
Dan's herbal training began at TAI with Ted Kaptchuk and has continued with various teachers online and in person.
